My faith in God has always been a huge part of who I am. I identify as Christian, or what the Bible would call a follower of The Way. I always enjoy talking the ins and outs of my faith with anyone that wants to. I just think that a lot of it has been watered down to "being a good person" on paper; checking off little boxes that equal your righteousness. It's almost become a game of who's better than who, when in reality it’s more about love for those around you. In the end, it really has little to do with us ourselves as much as who we are to those around us. I feel we should be looking out at all times for ways to improve the lives of those around us. We’ve all been given so much in different areas or our lives. We should be sharing our abundance with those lacking, whatever that may be. Ghandi said it best: "I like your Christ, but not so much your Christians; they're so much unlike your Christ." I’m a pretty quiet guy by nature, but if you have questions or want to talk about the deeper things of life, my door is always open. To all of you that have been spurned by the church because of things that don't matter in the long run, we're not all like that.

“Come all you weary; move through the earth. You've been spurned at fine restaurants and kicked out of church. Got a couple of loaves, sit down at my feet. Lend me your ears and we'll break bread and eat.” - Dustin Kensrue (Thrice)
